i work with materials that will change over time as they are used. wood beads will smooth out, darken, and even taking on the scent of the wearer. leather will do the same thing. creating this wearable art is a slow process, but it’s a process that i have developed over many years and has become as much a part of my work as the pieces themselves. the things i make are meant to be worn, touched, beads clicked together, and become a modern heirloom you can wear every day. and the moment an object leaves my workshop and ends up in your hands, you become part of the process. part of the history of the piece.

i studied a wide variety of studio media and liberal arts at kalamazoo college in michigan, and currently live and work in philadelphia.
